A traditional block that can be made in different sizes to create different looks.
Using all the same fabrics to a real variety of fabrics can alter this look.
Each ‘plate ‘ is pieced in strips that then create a circle. By using different lengths and finishing the ends with points, curves or squares all can be individual to you.
The block can be a full circle or it could be a half circle or even just a quarter circle.
Hand sewn or on the machine is up to you.
You'll be shown many variations for using this block.
It's a great way to use up strips and left over jelly rolls. Please also bring about 1/2 metre of background fabric for your plates.
