Level: This class is suitable for intermediate quilters or students who have already completed our Introduction to Patchwork and Quilting workshop.
Do you have a stash of Moda Mini Charms or Jelly Roll off-cuts? Then come along and turn them into a beautiful mini quilt! This class is a great skill-builder and during the day you will learn how to make half-square-triangles, trim blocks for accuracy and use nested seams to create an adorable 16" by 16" quilt. The pattern included with the class can also be scaled up, so you can make bigger versions using Charm Packs and Layer Cakes too!
Materials:
1 Moda MiniCharm (42 21/2" squares)
1 fat quarter for the background
1 fat quarter for the border
Coordinating thread.
To finish the quilt (these materials are not required on the day of the class) you will need 1 fat quarter for the backing, 1 fat quarter for the binding and a piece of wadding measuring at least 18" square.
